McInnis Cement | Port-Daniel-Gascons cement plant

The Port-Daniel-Gascons cement plant is one of the most important industrial projects currently under development in Canada. As part of its construction, EBC has to date executed three mandates.The first contract for site preparation works consisted of clearing and grubbing; excavation and transport of overburden and rock; consolidation of excavated rock walls; construction of the storm drainage system and the settling bassin.The second contract was for the construction of two concrete furnace foundations built to particular specification due to the height and size.Followed by the turnkey project for the design and construction of an administrative building. This single storey building construction type is of reinforced concrete foundation and slab, structure and steel beams, painted aluminum exterior cladding, slanted roof with waterproofing membrane.
