On June 20 in Val-d’Or, EBC Mining was awarded the Orica Trophy by the Association des Entrepreneurs Miniers du Québec (AEMQ), which recognizes the mining company with the best improvement in accident occurrences.
In fact, EBC’s subsidiary distinguished itself from the other members of the association by the largest decrease in accident occurrences in 2018.
Because all accidents can be avoided, prevention is paramount for the company and safety is its top priority.
