EBC is very proud to have been awarded by the Société québécoise des infrastructures (SIQ) the construction management mandate of a high school in the Charlesbourg area. The new establishment of the Centre de services scolaire des Premières-Seigneuries will be erected on the site of the former Jardin zoologique du Québec, on de la Faune Street.
Showcasing Québec materials such as wood and aluminum, the building will accommodate up to 1,256 students in 48 classes and will include two gymnasiums, an atrium, a public square, and sports spaces.
The project is part of the SQI’s major projects and will be carried out with an integrated design process (IDP), BIM management approach and aims for LEED certification.
The work will be ongoing from July 2021 to November 2023.
