In keeping with our objective to build a sustainable future, we decided in 2021 to reinforce our environmental protection program.

We have therefore integrated vital elements into our operations and procedures to meet or exceed compliance with various environmental requirements and international standards, the most important being ISO 14001. Such decisions will definitively help reduce our environmental footprint.

We are very proud to announce that our collective efforts have paid off. Through everyone’s participation and commitment, we obtained our ISO 14001:2015 certification. Thus solidifying our commitment to environmental management best practices in our offices and on construction sites.

We have often voiced our intention to be a good corporate citizen in environmental practices. Over the years, we have broadened our LEED project expertise and several of our building managers are LEED certified. In 2022, we will soon start work on the REM station at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, which aims to obtain ENVISON certification.

Several initiatives have been implemented in recent months. We have improved wash-water management for concrete mixers, we have increased our recycling efforts, our proposals teams are better equipped to evaluate environmental matters, we further measure our project‘s environmental impacts, we have assigned a full-time environmental protection staff, we have also installed EV charging stations at our L’Ancienne-Lorette office, we have implemented virtual meetings to reduce travel, and introduced a sturdy vehicle idling policy.

Our activities have an undeniable impact on the environment, but we are now well equipped to tackle them in a responsible and sustainable way.

Thank you to the entire team and our partners for their unwavering efforts in building a sustainable future.
