The Metro Vancouver (Infrastructure) Partnership (MVP) — a joint venture between Jacob Bros Construction, Hall Constructors and EBC— has been selected by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Transit to deliver the Highway 11 Interchange Project in Abbotsford, BC. This transformative transportation initiative will improve mobility and connectivity for communities across the region.

MVP’s scope of work on the project includes

  • Replacement of the Highway 11 / Highway 1 interchange to accommodate highway widening and increased traffic volumes
  • Replacement of the Highway 1 overpass over Riverside Road and adjacent rail corridors
  • Widening of Highway 1, including HOV/EV lanes, bus-on-shoulder lanes, and a westbound truck climbing lane
  • Intersection upgrades along Highway 11
  • New truck parking facilities
  • Enhanced active transportation connections, including multi-use paths, sidewalks, and bike lanes

MVP will be widening the highway and upgrading the interchange to create a safer, more efficient corridor for everyone who depends on this vital infrastructure.

MVP will apply advanced engineering solutions during construction to minimize traffic disruptions and improve construction efficiency that will deliver a modern interchange that serves the needs of British Columbians today and into the future.

MVP is proud to be part of a project that will improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and support economic growth in the Fraser Valley.

We look forward to collaborating with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit and all stakeholders to deliver this important project with excellence and integrity.
