EBC proudly contributes to the successful delivery of the Lansdowne 2.0 project, a major initiative by the City of Ottawa that will transform one of the capital’s most iconic community spaces. This largescale project aims to modernize its aging infrastructuresimprove accessibility, and reimagine its public spaces to make Lansdowne a vibrant and inclusive place that is accessible to the community throughout the year.

Within the scope of this project, EBC is applying its expertise to several essential components, including the construction of the new Events Centre and the reconstruction of the northside stadium stands.

Events Centre

The Events Centre will become a modern and versatile space offering seating for 6,600 sporting events spectators and more than 7,000 seats for concerts and cultural activities. Designed according to universal accessibility and sustainability guidelines, it will provide an enhanced experience for audiences, athletes, and event staff alike. The upgraded facilities will also include dedicated team spaces designed to meet the needs of athletes, coaches, and referees. With these improvements, the Centre will be able to host major national and international sporting, cultural, and artistic events.

Northside Outdoor Seating

The new northside stands will feature wider circulation areas, modern facilities, and improved comfort for spectators. With a 360-degree configuration and expanded concourses, the experience for countless fans will be significantly enhanced—both in terms of movement flow and overall hospitality. Team facilities will also undergo substantial improvements to better meet the needs of athletes, coaches, and sports staff.

This largescale project allows EBC to continue demonstrating its expertise in delivering sustainable and progressive infrastructures.
