Montreal Metro’s Blue Line extension

This extension project calls for the construction of a tunnel and the addition of five new metro stations spanning nearly 6 kilometres, from the Saint-Michel station to the Anjou borough. The stations will be located at the Pie IX, Viau, Lacordaire, Langelier, and Galeries-d’Anjou Blvd intersections. This metro line extension will allow over 20,000 users during peak periods to benefit from a reliable and fast service, and above all, improved access to the structuring public transit network. The Mobilité Bleu Horizon team is mobilized and will begin the project before the end of 2024. It will build the tunnel and excavate several of the other structures of this extension project. The team will collaborate with the STM to minimize impact on citizens and the business community throughout the project’s duration.
