Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion

Construction of a 23-story multifunctional building attached to the existing Ottawa Art Gallery. OAG is the first real estate project in Canada, bringing together an art gallery, a hotel and upscale condominiums. The building surface area totals 34,550 sq. ft. and the size of the Art Gallery has been quintupled to provide unparalleled access to its collections as well as to the art of the region. This project was carried out in a busy urban environment, where the coordination of the works had to be carried out in order to limit the impact on the neighboring key roads, as well as on the neighboring buildings. The implementation of BIM and Revit modeling took place throughout the project, both in terms of design, planning, management, coordination, and implementation.
