Pie-IX Integrated Bus Rapid Transit ( BRT)

EBC was awarded three mandates (Centre, North, and South Lots) of the Integrated Pie-IX bus rapid transit (BRT) project along 9 km of Pie-IX Boulevard. The goal of the project, which is divided into lots, is to set up a new public transport service on Pie-IX Boulevard, between Saint-Martin Boulevard in Laval and Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue in Montréal. Furthermore, the project will upgrade municipal infrastructures (water system, sewers, roadway, sidewalks and medians) and public lands (lighting, trees, traffic lights).As General Contractor EBC is responsible for :

• Construction of 14 BRT stations SRB
• Reconstruction of municipal infrastructures ( watermain and storm sewers)
• Redevelopment of 9 km of Pie-IX boulevard including construction of reserved lanes, upgrading of street and traffic lights, signaling and marking, landscaping
• Installation of a telecommunications network and of a Intelligent transportation system ( ITS)
• Traffic control
