Roadway reconstruction on Highway Félix-Leclerc (40) | Blaise-Pascale Interchange

Project to rebuild in cement concrete the western roadway of Highway Félix-Leclerc (40) on a distance of 1.3 km near the Blaise-Pascal Avenue Interchange as well as bitumen-coating and widening of the road on a distance of 1.2 km in the area of Le Gendre Ave in Quebec City. In addition to improving the road, this project aims to ensure better traffic flow for users with the addition of the third westbound lane on the entire section of 4.4 km. These works also have a beneficial impact on the Henri-IV Highway southbound. The project involves :

  • Earthworks
  • Removal and demolition of various drainage elements and reinforced concrete structures
  • Construction of pavement structures
  • Construction of small art works (culverts) and other drainage elements
  • Construction of curbs, wing walls, guardrails and other security features
  • Construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall (length of 24 m and height of 3.31 m)
  • Landscaping, electricity, lighting
