EBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stefan Balan, as Vice President Major Projects, for the Civil and Mining division.
Stefan joined EBC in 2015 as a Project Manager and quickly carved out a leading role within the REM project proposal team. In 2018, he was appointed Sector Director and led the entire Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue – ADM segment project worth over a billion dollars, which included elevated tracks and a tunnel under the airport. Thanks to his technical and management skills, his diligence, and his ability to manage several operations simultaneously, Stefan is an undeniable asset to the project and was assigned additional responsibilities, including rail and catenaries management and more recently, the management of all construction operations.
His professional experience accumulated throughout the years and more particularly in the last 7 years is an asset for EBC and we are delighted he will put it to good use on our next major projects.
