Centre Gilles-Chabot Expansion

"EBC will extend Gilles Chabot Centre facilities. EBC will act as the construction management in the project. A brand new building of 8,700 m2 surface will be juxtaposed next to the current arena. Total area of the new building will occupy nearly 16,000 m2. Two new rinks will be built in it and will be equipped with bleachers which can house over 500 spectators and 150 each.Gilles Chabot Centre will be made of current building materials, such as brick red. The siding will also be repainted with the metal cladding of the new building. A large marquee will house entirely the new main entrance which will be refurbished and with a huge structure made with dark gray concrete. The main entrance will be full of natural light thanks to a double height atrium. The new building construction allows the transformation of administrative offices, coffee bar, as well as a new pro-shop. The new mechanical room will be upgrade to current refrigeration standards and will have more space.
